10 Best TED Talks For Increasing Your Mojo

10 Best TED Talks For Mojo

TED Talks are commonly known for being excellent lectures by experts in their fields. These people can teach you a lot simply by talking. But there are so many. Where do you start? Well, I have looked at some lists for you and created my own list. It is hand-selected to increase your mojo. It will inspire your own mojo.

Many sources make lists. I have used them to build my own list for you. Wikipedia is a source that does a good job of describing how a list is built. But I don't rely on it. Instead, I used Lifehack, the Ten Most popular TED Talks, the Most watched TED Talks on YouTube, and my own experience with TED Talks as my sources. In compiling my list, I emphasized increasing your mojo. I excluded anything that was too sad or had a political agenda. These aren’t the most popular talks, or the best talks, or the talks by the most gifted speakers. They are chosen to help you. Here 's my list for you:
  1. Do schools kill creativity? Creativity is as important as literacy. If you are not prepared to be
wrong, you will never come up with anything original. This is an excellent talk about creativity in children and how we can’t destroy it if we want to survive.
  2. The thrilling potential of Sixth Sense This is a talk about gestures and computer interfaces. The speaker has created more intuitive digital interfaces. Wear a camera and get almost anything into the computer so that you can interact with it digitally.
  3. My Stroke of Insight The roles of left and right hemispheres in the human brain. The left hemisphere’s relates to the world. But the right hemisphere has a role that is perhaps even more profound.
  4. Underwater astonishments A surprisingly interesting illustration of what you can see underwater. There are videos of sea animals changing their skin color for many reasons and in subtle ways.
  5. Hacking Work Using software that isn’t “sanctioned” can improve your productivity. The future will reward people who think this way.
  6. The riddle of experience vs. memory Are you happy now or are you happy with your past life? A bad ending can dominate our memory of an experience. We decide what to do based on the anticipated memory, not the experience that is anticipated.
  7. Turning Fear Into Fuel Launching a business the day after 9/11/2001. Dealing with fear. Inspiring.
  8. How to succeed? Get more sleep Make better decisions. From a woman’s perspective. Ignore that part. Just don’t ignore the message. You will benefit.
  9. The puzzle of motivation External incentives only work in certain circumstances. Increasingly, for twenty-first century tasks, they can be negative. There is a mismatch between what science knows and what business does.
  10. How great leaders inspire action People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it. The speaker gives plenty of examples, both good and bad.
Let this list be your introduction to TED Talks, your mojo builder, or anything else.
