9 Ways To Show Mojo During Corona Virus Times

9 Ways To Show Mojo During Corona Virus Times In an earlier post , I detailed the components of mojo. Lets apply these ideas to the current situation. The most important component of mojo is motivation. If you are internally motivated to get back to work, bless you. If not, read this post about external motivation. By the way, the statistical site I prefer is our world in data . To get some external motivation, I have recommended variety, friends, and rivals. Variety in this context means reading lots of different viewpoints about the virus and virus statistics. This approach will enhance you mojo. Friends means using others knowledge to help you deal with the virus (and hopefully get back to work.) Rivals is similar, using the actions of others as examples of how to react, hopefully in a positive way. Next in importance for having mojo is expertise. Knowing about the Wuhan Virus si going to help you deal with it. Name - Is it the corona virus, or COVID-19, or th...

How You Can Kill Your Mojo

Image
How To Kill Your Mojo Mojo is rare. There are many extremely competent people who don’t have mojo. In a previous post, I have described how I see mojo and its components. But what if you already have mojo, or at least think you do, or want to demonstrate that you do? Well of course, you should do more of what I described, But that is not what I want to discuss in this post. Here, I want to tell you what NOT to do. In the alternative situation, your group does well and your statistics are overlooked. People will notice this too. It will increase your mojo. Failing to take responsibility. If your mess ...

10 Highest Mojo American Leaders

10 Highest Mojo American Leaders H ere are my highest mojo Americans.  I excluded anyone who is still living.  Note that US Presidents are featured prominently.  This should not surprise you, as getting elected by the entire US population is no mean feat. Many sources make lists. I have used them to build mine for you. Wikipedia is a source that does a good job of describing how a list is built. But I don't rely on it. Instead, I used garden of praise , thrillist , ranker , listovative , The Greates_Americans , and my own judgement as my sources. These are chosen to help you. Here 's my list for you: George Washington - Washington displayed manifest leadership qualities, from his military accomplishments to his political ones. There was little question that he would be elected our first president. He won a majority of electoral votes in every state. He is ranked near the top in almost every list. Abraham Lincoln - Some believe he was an even be...

Maybe you are dealing with some bad press. Don’t despair. It is possible to enhance your mojo. Here are some progressive suggestions on how to react. In my first post , I described the components of mojo. Start from there. motivation expertise experience support luck faith willingness to act You can’t change some of these. Others are very hard to change or to change a lot. For example, luck is something that you can’t predict or change. It happens when it happens. Also, you can’t change the degree of support you had in the past. If you want to increase support, it is future support only. Your willingness to act is very difficult to change because it is mostly a trait that you either do or do not have. Lastly, internal motivation is similar, although sometimes external motivation can be conv...
